Does anyone here have a good strategy for defeating this "foe" ? I can beat him...not a problem but sometimes I have to continue and I would rather not. The thing is I don't really have a strategy so I think there's a better way to go about beating him than how I do it. Any advice is greatly appreciated Also, what is this thing? A final boss or something? Keep in mind...I never played a Smash Bros. title prior to Brawl. Well, technically I have...I played Melee on my Wii, but only about 15 minutes of training so I never really played the fighting mode.

If you mean the master hand, hes usually the last boss of all the classic modes. A good strat for beating him is to stay underneath him and use up A attacks. Use the dodge technique to avoid most of his attacks. Its pretty easy.
But Tabuu, now that guy I have no clue how to beat. ( I did beat him a while ago, but it was pretty hard )

Oops, thanks for catching that Mignelli. Yes, I did mean the Master Hand I pretty much doing as you suggested...I guess he's just pretty tough so it's takes quite a few hits.

The reason (he/it/she/ I don't know)'s harder this time around in Brawl is because it can actually "sneak up" behind, if anyone gets what that means. In Melee, the hand was always in front of you.

It varies as to whom you use, I've allways had issues with the Master Hand and Crazy Hand, well on Brawl he seems easier I just have issues with them on Intense. For general strategy it's easier to outrun his attacks then it is to time a dodge.
Tabuu is fairly simple IMO you can dodge all his attacks and with his setups for each of them it's fairly easy to predict the only real problem for me is that Marth has to keep jumping up and down to even hit him in most cases so it draws out the match a bit and his knock back is a bit unforgiving if he does end up hitting you.

I appreciate everyone's feedback and advice. Right now, I am using Kirby...and kicking some major butt. I think I'm kicking major butt for me anyway

Get a match with Zombie from my site he's pretty much allways available, my brother and I are currently Wii less. Besides if you can't beat him you're not worth my brother's or my time.

I like to play for fun but eventually I will get better and then move on to challenge skilled fighters.

I'm not really one to make fun of people, besides it's just a game. Anyway did you figure out MAster Hand yet?

man, do you guys really have problems in the other smash games with M hand? Ive never had problems with him ever. Even Crazy hand.
The only problem I have with Tabbuu is his shockwave attack thing where he goes in the centre of the screen. BUt I think I know how- are you supposed to jump in the centre of the screen?

Dodge each of the pulses. Only on intense, but that's because I don't care enough to actually try and beat them.

Do you mean with a sidestep dodge? On SWF dodge means the sidestep, so I just assume everybody uses the same standard. Avoiding an attack by other means is simply avoiding the attack no special name for it and a roll dodge is obviously the roll dodge.
