This is a thread I created to see what kind of ideas we can brainstorm about features that the current Wii version does not have, but we would like to see. State what you would like to see or what would make the Wii that much better and then elaborate a bit. Give a reason or two why you think it would make the Wii more enjoyable. I'll go first... a multi-disk changer. If the Wii had a multi-disk changer, I would play it much more because I wouldn't have to keep switching games out left and right. I would be happy with a 3-disk changer...nothing crazy like a 10-disk changer or anything, just 3. I typically play 2-3 games per console so this would be a great feature to have. *Hint Hint * Nintendo!!

A Revamped Graphics System
Anyone who has played the Wii can say that its graphics are... a little cartoony. Now this isn't a bad thing in most cases, it's basically the style the Wii's games are created in. In fact, for the smaller audience this makes gameplay more exciting, and the same effect goes to an older audience. I mean, I always find myself enjoying the vibrant colors and explosions!
But if the Wii could somehow support a larger resolution of graphics, I think the Wii would appeal to a larger audience. The decrease of graphics is the reason many people bought the PS3 and XBox360 over the Wii. I honestly don't really have a problem with this, but sometimes, I crave for a longer gameplay that's deeper in detail.
Just a thought.

Personally I think nintendo should get a brand new series going. Im not talking a mario spin off featuring waluigi or something, Im taking an entirely new franchise. They could publish games for the wii and ds. Now dont get me wrong, i think mario, zelda, metroid and pokemon are holding up well, along with the others like starfox, and ect., but eventually somebody's gonna say " what about if we create an entirely new idea, put it out there, and make a big deal out of it". Because eventually, zelda, mario, metroid and the other nintendo games are going to get repetitive. So before they make a new nintendo game, how about a new franchise. Even if it isnt very groundbreaking, as say, MP3, and twilight princess, or galaxy ( wich I didnt like very much by the way ), it would still be something fresh and original, and an oppritunity for nintendo to make a great franchise. Nintendo has done platforming, fantasy, space, racing, adventuring, and creature capturing. But nintendo still hasnt had a chance to work on fps's. MP was an fps, and it turned out great. Now I know the big N isnt too well known for violent games, but why not ask another developer to help? Pokemon had gamefreak, and Metroid Prime had retro. Just because a third party helps out dosnt mean it cant be a nintendo exclusive franchise. Nintendo is one of the best creative companies around, so with a class A crew, and a fresh idea, the sky isnt even the limit.

Nintendo is one of the best creative companies around, so with a class A crew, and a fresh idea, the sky isnt even the limit. That is a wonderful idea. It's true; Mario, Zelda, Metroid, and Pokemon are getting rather old. A completely new thing would be perfect right about now. a multi-disk changer. If the Wii had a multi-disk changer, I would play it much more because I wouldn't have to keep switching games out left and right. I would be happy with a 3-disk changer...nothing crazy like a 10-disk changer or anything, just 3. Customized Menu thingsI think it would be really cool if Nintendo designed different menu "skins," if you will. For example, if you are a huge Yoshi fan you could have a Yoshi background, green color scheme, egg shaped menu buttons, etc.

Grooms, skins would be awesome to have. This is something they might actually incorporate eventually. I can't see it being to hard to design...maybe available as a download or something.
What if the Wii had...
An accessory that held batteries...like a battery dispenser of some sort. Talk about LAZY huh?

a way to transfer things from the system to the internet. Ex: friend codes, screen shots, etc...
