Here, I will maintain a list of Comments that members of the NintendoNerds Forum have provided about for games. All comments will be added to the NintendoNerds website. I figured that a "comments" section for each game would be a great addition for NintendoNerds.com. It's easy...just post comments about games and I'll add them to the NintendoNerds website and update this post accordingly. NES:California Games VIEW HEREClash at Demonhead VIEW HEREContra VIEW HEREDragon Warrior VIEW HEREMetroid VIEW HERESuper Mario Bros. VIEW HERESNES:Currently, no comments have been added for any SNES games. N64:Currently, no comments have been added for any Nintendo 64 games. GameCube:Currently, no comments have been added for any GameCube games. Wii:Currently, no comments have been added for any Wii games. Other Nintendo Systems:Currently, no comments have been added for any other Nintendo gaming system. Feel free to create a thread for any NES game.

I have put in some extra work in an effort to make the comments section for each game look more appealing. I added mini avatars for users who posted comments. Feel free to create comments threads for more games...any game really I appreciate everyone's hard work here lately (although it seems a bit slow)!! Oh, if any of you want different mini avatars for the comments section, just send me one. Just make sure it's 50x50 pixels.

Is there any way you could get the comments to read from top to bottom?

You're welcome, Ninjatiamat NN can we put html in the comments on the website? I really want to try to keep the comment sections on the game pages just that...comments. What kind of HTML did you have in mind?

Just the very basics Bolds, Italicize and Underline to point out a piece of the comment. If you want to keep everything text, thats ok with me

How about letting us comment directly on the site instead of transferring us to the boards, sorta like a guest book for each game. Or would that be too much work?

wow I just looked online, some of those are expensive, some are cheap, but they proablly won't work for a hill of beans.
You could risk it and allow guests to post on this board only.

No...it's not a money issue. SQL software is actually free, open source software. I just do not have the time to sit down and configure the server or software for it. I'm not sure what you looked at, but it sounds like the wrong thing. You may have also looked at licensed SQL software which requires a purchase. As far as allowing guests to post...I think it's a great idea and will probably risk it and see what happens. Thanks. EDIT: I took ClassicGamer's advice for "everyone" being allowed to reply to the game comment threads. I think it's a great idea! I have made the necessary changes to allow everyone to reply to the game threads. Registered members and above can only create threads. This shouldn't be too hard to maintain if the spambots come our way

Right, and like I did wowposter, I'll have an eagle eye out. I won't delete posts, but I'll edit them. It will be easier to do away with the guests if we do that.

Hopefully everyone has noticed that I have moved the comment thread to the main NES board. It would have just been too complicated to have the comments area here. We won't have to worry about any guests posting here anymore. Thanks everyone I'll update the game list as new comments are provided for the games.
