Well, a new Nintendo DS, the DSi, is hitting Japan November 1st. Essentially, the new DS features a camera, SD Card support, and a Dsi Shop where downloadable content may be purchased. It's also somewhat smaller, thanks to the elimination of the GBA slot. Unless they get some outstanding downloadable tiles, I'm not impressed. I think I'm sticking with my Lite. www.engadget.com/2008/10/02/nintendo-announces-the-dsi/

Yeah...can't wait for it. I truly think this will be a huge improvement over the already awesome NDS. Fortunately, I managed to purchase DSiDaily.com before it got too late. Not quite sure what I'll do with it yet, but at least I have it for now. I have over 30 domains that I will eventually figure out something to do with Things I don't like about it however, is the removal of the Gameboy Advance slot...BOOOO! Also, I think the designers went a bit overboard with having dual integrated digital cameras. Really...who cares about digital cameras anyway?? I would have totally picked the GBA slot over the two digital cameras the DSi bolsters. All in all, I think it will be better overall as far as innovative technology and downloadable content. Anyway, here's a cool (but brief) clip of the NDSi:

My question is does this allow Emulators to be put on the DS.

My room mate (the same who is creating the shoes) purchased the Japanese version of the DSI. He was basically demo-ing it to me, and I must tell you, it is incredible. And that's saying a lot coming from me, since I was incredibly disappointed with the DS after my initial excitement died down.
There are so many things you can do with just the camera function alone (warping images, adding frames, face tracking, etc). You can not only listen to MP3s, but play around with them as well(slowing them down, making them sound 8-bit). You can download a web channel, there's a store channel, you can access the main menu in the middle of playing a game, you can change games without turning the DSI off, you can use SD cards. The list goes on. I was amazed.
