Why can't the Wii lay on its side like the old PS2? Does it really matter? People get so mad when it even moves.... I find that kinda obsessed (It probably isn't, I might get mad at that...I don't know) Sure, I mean it aint gotta lay down flat on da ground, but at least on a shelf on your TV stand (if ya got one).

It can be placed down or sitting up.. unless you mean something else.

Cubemaster, the Wii can either lay flat or standing up-right. The reason the Wii is seen standing up 95% of the time is because it comes with a stand when you buy it. The stand it comes with is for stading the Wii up-right in. Additionally, other aftermarket accessories can be purchased to lay it flat. There are many purchase options out there, but here is a nice flat stand I found from Pelican: gear.ign.com/articles/790/790446p1.html
