i had an xbox a few years back and i'm not biased or anything but i didn't really like it. looking back there were some great games so like the topic says, i was wondering what your favorite xbox and ps2 games are.
mine would be, xbox: 3. burnout 3- fast and fun, custom soundtracks and better graphics made the xbox version the way to go 2. Fable- short but sweet. perfect example of how to make an awesome short rpg but still, i could've done for another 10 hours added to it. 1. phantom dust- hardly anyone has played this ultra unique game. in fact it sold terribly so it went down to $4.99 brand new. so i bought it. it was amazing, had a compelling storyline, great graphics, awesome music and totally new and unique gameplay that is a mix of action, rpg and strategy. this game was awesome.
sure you got halo for awesome multiplayer and such but these 3 games i'd take over halo any day.
ps2: 3. beyond good and evil- unique game. mix sci-fi with zelda, throw in a neat storyline and there you go. 2. Metal gear solid 2- sure raiden was a little b*tch but that didn't hinder the game enough for me to say i didn't love it. it still had everything right and one heck of an ending. 1. metal gear solid 3- legendary. much longer than the previous metal gears, the cinematics were excellent and the graphics still look good today. best ps2 game out there.

I've always wanted to play Fable, but I don't own an Xbox of any kind. If we're talking about pre-360, my favorite games for Xbox would probably be any Halo game and any Call of Duty game, since those are pretty much the only ones I've played for it. As far as PS2 games go, I LOVED Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2. And....that's all I can think of.
