The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past was one of the games that upset me the most. As far as just going throught the game and beating it I really didn't get too upset...that much. Yes, there were a few times when I felt like biting or throwing the controller but nothing upset me more when I chose to beat the game without dying.
After many attempts and much frustration, I finally beat the game without dying...ONCE.

Wow, that's impressive. I've never tried to beat it without dying. There is a game for the SNES entitled Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures. This game, well, I don't it could even really be called a game, seemed to take fun and banish it to Siberia. It has a point and click kind of "gameplay" in a sidescrolling world in which you could tell Pac-Man to look if anything got suspicious. Pac-Man will move on his own in one direction, and if you're not always looking after him, he'll walk right into a rock, or something stupid like that. I think the first mission was to find milk for the Pac-Baby. I never found that milk. In fact the game doesn't even refer to itself as a game, it calls itself an "Interactive Cartoon". The game was so frustrating because I couldn't stand it long enough to really figure out what I was doing.

Another game that makes me want to break my controller is Super Mario Kart...especially when I am playing with a friend and he beats me.

Another game would be Super Empire Strikes Back. The difficulty on that game is ridiculous.

LOL! I remember having to beat my cousin in SF2 with a broken controller. I was so mad, but I did beat him once.

i was once playing shaq fu (don't ask) with my friend and i beat him with my eyes closed. he got real pissed but that game requires no skill. it depends on who presses the a button fastest
i bought that game as a joke expecting it to be so bad it would be enjoyable, and apart from the storyline it was nothing like that. it was just awful

chrono trigger and super metroid cause my r button was broken so aiming diagonally was a pain So playing those games made you want to break your already broken controller. Ironic. I would say Super Mario Kart sometimes when the computer players did something cheap and got ahead of me constantly. And also, Super Ghouls and Ghosts. Not only was it difficult, but when I got to the end I found out that I had missed something I needed to complete the game so it made me start all over.

I don't think Megaman 8 was on anything outside of playstation.. (not referring to the compilation) Getting all 40 DK coins in DKC2 was a pain.
