This week is a total change. This week's game of the week is Metroid II for gameboy * Note: I know I'm a day early but I'll be going out of town tommorow and coming back sunday with very little time to get online, so I thought I'd post a day early. Discuss a great game for a different system.

ClassicGamer, you are a day early. Remember these go every Thursday, not Wednesday.
I never played this game for the Gameboy. How well did this title do?

I thought by posting a day early would be better than posting at least 2 or 3 days late. Anyways the gameboy version was a sequel to Metroid, and Super Metriod was the 3rd. I didn't really play much. I know it was a big hit in the top 20 of gameboy games that NP used to do for some months. Thats why I picked it.

Actually, after readong about this game it is different from the NES version of Metroid. Metroid II is the return of Samus. Also, this was the only Metroid title that was released for the Gameboy. A color version of this game was also released (Return of Samus DX) for the Gameboy Color.
