It's been a while since I have played this game. Are you saying that we aren't allowed to go to level 9 with warping or that it's not possible to get to level 9 warping?

it's not possible if you warp you go from 8-4 to A-1 You can use Mario or Luigi or any combination. And since this game has a battery, one may save. well

So this contest is still going? I think I may boot up the ol' SNES and give it a go. I'm not sure if I ever got to D-4, too do so you just go through the game with no warps? Is there some secret path I need to take somewhere? Thanks.

you can't warp in words 1-1 to 8-4 to get to world 9, if you do you will go directly to A
you can warp if you want in ABCD worlds, just make sure you get a picture of world 9.
You'll get 500 coins if you get the screenshots posted by Sunday, 250 coins for anytime there after.

Thanks. So once I beat world 9, I just go to world A? Then after that B, then C, then D? There's no trick I have to do to get there? I just want to make sure, because I know The Lost Levels can be tricky and weird sometimes. EDIT: Just started up, I decided to forget about Warp Zones, and just do it world by world. (Unless I need to take a Warp Zone to get to the letters, please tell me.) This is actually really fun, having a contest here makes it have more of a point while playing. I can't wait too see other contests like this. Here's my screenshot of starting it up. I'm on world 4 now, I've been taking a screenshot at the start of each world, encase needed or something.

right. you must go through without warping until you beat 8-4 then you'll get to world 9. If you warp you will go from 8-4 to A.. If you want to warp in worlds that start with a letter you can do that, just beware that if you do warp in world A, B, C, or D that you won't be able to go back to world 9.
It gets to be a real pain later. good luck.
There are contests going on every week look for them.

World 9 was a big dissapointment IMO Hahaha. Yeah, it was short, easy, and kind of weird. But A looks good.

I find it easier to go through the game as luigi. Have you gotten to the horrific C-3 and C-4 yet
