Well, I am having a pretty hard time. I guess it's more of a timing issue because half the time I can't knock the stupid thing off the platform. Do I have to break the glass before the clock hits zero?

well I used Bowser because he's strong (but slow) and hit it about 1,500 ft. I think I am doing something majorly wrong.

Mine with Bowser is 2,800 something, but I'm by no means a Bowser so I'm sure there is much farther ones out there. Pick up bat > turn around down tilt > F smash > turn around F smash > turn around Flame, untill clock turns to 1 and immediately swing the bat. You should hit it atleast over 2,000.

OK. Does it matter how much damage has been dealt or how much glass has been broken?

OK. Does it matter how much damage has been dealt or how much glass has been broken? Pure damage, the shield drops at time and if you hit it earlier the glass shattering from the bat doesn't slow it down, or atleast I haven't heard anything about it slowing it down.

I guess I just have to practice a bit. Do I have to stand on the thing in the middle of the platform and hold doen the button once it hits 1?

You have to move up to swing the bat though and you'll cut it close, but you'll have started your swing before time so it'll still count.

I have used it but it just seems like my timing is off. The bat is the first thing I pick up and I throw it at the sandbag a few times too.

Check out this video...22,804.79 ft homerun!!!
