This is what I like to refer to as the "List of Heroes" or simply...the Hall of Gamers. The following gamers have demonstrated their talents by conquering the following listed games and deserve the utmost respect: Contra 1. Justiceman (02.17.2008) 2. ClassicGamer (02.26.2008)
Double Dragon II 1. Tails (05.17.2008)
Dragon Warrior I 1. Justiceman (01.11.2008) 2. ClassicGamer (01.13.2008)
Mendel Palace 1. ClassicGamer (02.08.2008)

As an incentive to beat games, you'll be given 250 coins a pop . You can only get 250 coins per game, hence you just cant beat the same game over and over and rack up coins. When ever you recive 5,000 coins (beat 20 games) you will get a blog if NN accepts this idea
Rules -no codes to make the game easier wherever the konami code or the infamous game genie
-you can use passwords, but only ones you recieve yourself through playing the game starting now. You can't have a password from a week ago and use it today to make a game easier
- no save states / you can use them only where a password would continue you and with items you have. eg you can't use a save state at the beginning of Dr. Cossack's castle in Mega Man IV and have energy tanks to use because the password would not save them. Also you can't use a save state in stage 3 of coassacks castle because the password that starts you out the closest to the end is at the beginning of coassack.

{ idea accepted} Are you going to keep track of this ClassicGamer? yes Does this only apply to NES games? I haven't thought of that. This catergory is in the nes forums, but I'd say no. It might be a better idea to move the Hall of Gamers and create a new catergory "Hall of Gamers" and have the systems be the boards, then create subboards as needed. It might get too many boards though Also another rule, if you use emulation, you can't use speedups/slowdowns.

Ok everyone, I have organized all of the gaming competitions into ONE board called "Hall of Heroes".
The gaming systems are the sub-boards and can easily be found on the main page. The Hall of Heroes baord is directly under the "NintendoNerds.com Website Updates" board.

This hasn't been updated in a while. Tails beat Double Dragon II and Justice and myself beat Kirby's Adventure.

Dragon Warrior and Contra were both contests too.

Hmm, this is kind of confusing. Should we automatically incorporate other contest challenges into this (Hall of Gamers) ?
