well I haven't played it that much, Final Fantasy III in japan came out for the DS i think, and Final Fantasy II in japan came out on a dual cartridge with FF I on the game boy advance. Final Fantasy II on the SNES was Final Fantasy IV in Japan. Final Fantasy III on the SNES was Final Fantasy VI in Japan. Final Fantasy V came out here as Final Fantasy V advance for the GBA.
The reasons these games proablly made it eventually to come out here was the fact that people had the roms.
But these 2 games are very different from FF's you know and love.
