Sorry, its not Conan. I will give out my hint though. Hints will gradually get more and more specific as they're given. 1. Official NES release {OOC: I was given $1,000 for being the 100th member.}

That and my name looks cooler now.

Hence the word "official" does help out as well. {OOC: Toad suits you.}

Btw, why are you going in and out of character? Are you roleplaying? Wouldn't OT(OffTopic) make more sense?

Tomorrow's hint should divide that number in half, give or take. Promise.
{OOC: While the initials OOC are often used as Out Of Character in roleplaying, they are also frequently used as Out Of Context in forums. Besides being completely ineffective, I have no problem with Toad. Like I said, he suits you.}

I guess out of context works, but off topic makes a lot more sense. Are you sure I didn't catch you using the wrong terms and now your backpedaling? Oh and sorry if Toad isn't uber awesome, I liked him because he's cool. Let me guess, you prefer the Princesss?

New Hint: 1. Official NES release 2. Genre: Action/Platform Just so there's no misunderstandings I'll offer my definition of the genre. Action/Platform (a.k.a. Platform/Standard) is a side view game where the object is to safely navigate from one point to another in order to "clear" an area. In doing so, you advance to a new area. Areas may be called worlds, levels, or anything else for that matter. They may or may not include a "boss battle". The major challenges presented are jumping over dangerous terrain and/or battling/avoiding enemies along the way. Examples would include but are not limited to: Super Mario Bros., Mega Man and Castlevania. This genre should not be confused with Adventure/Platform where the object is not to reach the end of an area but instead to explore all areas which will include returning to previously visited areas in an attempt to access different side routes that may or may not have been accessible previously. Examples include but are not limited to: Metroid, Ufouria, Zelda II {OOC: I'm not backpedaling at all. Also, I was more of a Luigi fan.}

I still got no idea.
And yeah I played Toad and Luigi mainly. Mario was too boring and Princess was too situational.

Third hint. 1. Official NES Game 2. Genre: Action/Platform 3. Theme: Run n' Shoot Theme? Themes are used to explain the specific, overriding challenge component/s of a game. Explanation of the theme: Run n' Shoot themes are a specific type of Action/Platform theme in which the major challenge aspect involves battling enemies through long-range combat usually with a gun. The player is required to avoid enemy fire while safely maneuvering into a position where they are able to attack the enemies as well. Examples of Run n' Shoot games are: Mega Man and Contra.
