Virtual boy was the first step into reality.

I agree. It was a stepping stone and not too bad for it's time either. Watching reviews of the Virtual Boy today makes it look like a total waste but back then it was a ground-breaking video game technology...very innovative.

just like the tiny handhelds called Game and watch were for the handheld era.
Oh and the Atari was for the Console Era

The Virtual boy doesn't even look cool. Anybody playing it would look like a complete idiot.

The Virtual boy doesn't even look cool. Anybody playing it would look like a complete idiot. So was the power glove, but it was the prequel of the wii mote.

That doesn't mean that the Virtual Boy and Power Glove were any good.

That doesn't mean that the Virtual Boy and Power Glove were any good. but it broke the ground to that territory.

It was the first shot of reality Aceclaw.
Look at the games now and how real they are.. its because of the Virtual Boy idea.

The Wii is like virutal reality.
test how fit you are, you get put into the game and play it.

Although the Wii isn't truly virtual reality by definition, I guess it does have some similar qualities in a sense.
